Weekends (3 night minimum):
Only available during Regular Season - Thurs/Fri/Sat OR Fri/Sat/Sun, when standard nightly rate is $450.
** Minimum stay of 5 nights during School Holidays & Christmas period.
** Maximum of 6 adults, or 4 adults & 2 children.
** Housekeeping @ $200 / stay ; Refundable security deposit of $750 or $1000 required on all bookings.
** No parties or groups, no 'Schoolies' bookings.
** Full payment on confirmation usually required, although payment plans accepted with 50% deposit, and final payment due no later than 30 days prior to stay. No refund for cancellations within 30 days of stay.

We have rented many places across the world but have never had anything as well designed, furnished and appointed as Melissa's fantastic penthouse at Salt on Kings. The massive terraces, affording panoramic views of the beach and surrounding coastline, are so well appointed that one is loathe to wander down the road to the beautiful Kings Beach. The furnishings and fittings are all to a high standard as was the cleanliness of the apartment. From the initial enquiry through to the booking and subsequent rental Melissa was very easy to contact and genuinely "interested" in her guests.
We will definitely be back to Salt on Kings at some stage in the future and will have absolutely no hesitation
in recommending this high end accommodation to friends and family.

From the moment we arrived we knew that this apartment was going to be something special. It was very spacious with lots of places to enjoy a meal and a drink but it also has lots of places where you can get away and chill and relax with a good book and a glass of wine whilst enjoying the fresh salt sea air. We were lucky enough to enjoy the new years eve fireworks from the top deck and it was stunning. It has everything that you could want or ever think of from the surf board to the beach towels to the spa bath on the deck to the BBQ on the lower deck with so many different platters and glasses to choose from. The lift from the carpark with the trolley to take up your luggage is a big bonus. It is within walking distance to the beach and a good coffee shop and a few different options for eating out. Melissa was a pleasure to communicate with from the very beginning and nothing was too much trouble for her. The bond was refunded promptly and the entire transaction was a breeze. We will certainly be returning again to this magnificent property and have many happy memories of our stay.

The property is ideally located within Kings Beach, just a very short stroll down the hill and you are on the beach. The advantage of the property being on the hill is the fantastic views it offers across the bay. Kings Beach is an outstanding resort, having visited several of the other local resorts during our stay Kings Beach was by far the best with several shops and cafés. A breakfast at Coffee Cat is highly recommended. The local town of Coloundra is within easy walking distance, the best route being along the sea front. Among many small shops there are also two supermarkets. The coastal path in both directions is amazing, you to walk miles along the coast line, with a constant supply of BBQ/picnic areas, children’s play grounds and even fitness area if you fancy a work out. The beach is exceptionally clean and well managed and monitored by lifeguards. The waves are exhilarating,however, if you want to escape the waves there is an outstanding salt water swimming pool which will be enjoyed by both the enthusiastic swimmer or children paddling. The apartment is very spacious, has an excellent floor plan and is furnished in a contemporary way with an artistic theme. Both floors have a large expanse of glass giving the property plenty of natural light and stunning views, especially from the master bedroom. Every morning the curtains were drawn wide open to enjoy the amazing sunrises and you are close enough to have sound of crashing waves, the views and sounds of dreams from your bedroom. If you are really keen you could enjoy the sunrise from the spa. Melissa’s communication from initial inquiry, through booking and throughout your stay was faultless. She always fast to reply, offers advice and keeps you up to date with anything she feels may affect your stay, it has been a pleasure. Our stay at Kings beach was to celebrate both a 50th birthday and 25th wedding anniversary so I was looking for something special, I am so pleased I found 21 Salt on Kings, it was certainly very special compared to the many other apartments in the area.

I was specifically looking for some accommodation that had a wow factor that offered a comfortable homey feel at an affordable rate. I got my wish list ticked off here and more with Melissa's help.
This stunning penthouse is perfectly located just a moments walk to the beach in a lovely quiet part of town. On entering the apartment you will immediately feel like home as the presentation of the place is gorgeous with unique paintings and ornaments dotted around this modern well kept apartment.
A wonderfully large kitchen area to enjoy company whilst you prep food, cook or simply top up your glass, plus a lovely laid out lounge dining and balcony area on the first floor.
Prepare yourself for upstairs as it is divine and the couple that calls 'shotgun' will win hands down. An incredible amount of space to enjoy and a view to match with all the essentials for a wonderfully relaxing weekend.My experience arranging the accommodation with Melissa was so easy and and effortless, in fact a total pleasure, the only downside was that I couldn't get to enjoy a glass of bubbles on her amazing balcony with her.

My wife and I stayed at Melissa's apartment for two weeks in February of 2016. I have to say that the place was everything Melissa said it was and more. We loved our stay. We look forward to staying her again, hopefully for much longer.
The apartment is extremely spacious, filled with light and air, up above the streets of Caloundra with amazing views on three sides. We invited family and friends to visit us while we were there and the layout of the place, with the living areas and two bedrooms downstrairs and with the master site above was perfect for us; more than enough room to have privacy and 'away' time when needed.
The apartment, it's detailing and furnishings are exemplary but we essentially lived on the terraces. Enjoying the spa each night...watching the stars while listening to the surf became a favorite and treasured past time.
Anna and I have stayed in many places in many parts of the world, Melissa's place is absolutely one of the best. If you get the opportunity to stay at Salt on Kings, take it and know that you are lucky.

The apartment was accurate with location, amenities and layout. We were extremely happy with the amount of space that was available to us within the apartment. It is close to the local beach, the shops, restaurants and the pub. The main bedroom was quite unique with two entries, a large wardrobe, double shower and bath with an extensive view. Step out of the main bedroom and there is a vast balcony with various outdoor settings, a spa and a firepit. The views on the balcony are truly spectacular!
The apartment was clean and well-maintained. There was plenty of cutlery, crockery and kitchen needs/appliances to assist you with food preparation and a large BBQ on the downstairs balcony. I especially liked the artwork and décor of the apartment, giving it a ‘cultural’ feel. There is a huge collection of travel books to browse through and an assortment of DVDs to watch for those lazy days or nights.
Melissa provided excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting promptly if there were any issues. I would highly recommend this apartment to family and friends as we definitely did not want to leave this piece of paradise!
